This policy explains the email permission shown at signup, what we send, and what happens when a subscriber opts out.

Ordinary promotional email

A person joins the Happy List only after actively selecting the email checkbox and submitting an address. The checkbox is not preselected. Promotional email can include product drops, recommendations, store news, and offers. Joining the Happy List does not create Payday Club membership and is never required to buy.

Payday Club email

Payday Club is a free, optional loyalty program whose benefits are delivered by email. The enrollment form requires an unchecked email-permission checkbox and separate acceptance of the Club terms. The exact consent notice says: “I agree to receive Payday Club rewards, member offers, product news, and promotional email from Hard Earned Happy. I can unsubscribe at any time; unsubscribing ends Club membership.”

Club email can include the welcome offer, earned-reward codes, points and tier notices, early access, member offers, product news, and program changes. Each earned reward message states its code, minimum eligible subtotal, expiration date, account limits, non-stacking rule, and reversal conditions.

Unsubscribe and suppression

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We honor an unsubscribe by suppressing further marketing to that address. Leaving Payday Club email also ends active Club membership, but it does not erase completed-order records, remove access to the Shopify customer account, or stop necessary order, security, refund, or service messages. A person can ask to rejoin later through a fresh explicit opt-in, subject to suppression and eligibility checks.

Identity, frequency, and records

Messages identify Hard Earned Happy, use an authenticated sender address, and include the required business and unsubscribe information. Frequency varies with signup, purchases, earned rewards, product releases, and member activity. We keep consent wording, source, timestamp, version, and later opt-out evidence so Shopify and our first-party records can agree.
